Do Diets Work?
Why do we start a diet in the first place? Are you unhappy with the reflection, or that you cannot fit into those jeans hanging in the wardrobe? Is that enough to make you think you have come to the end of your tether and are going to do something about it, today! Your friends will support you, you feel great and off you go to a weight watching group or meeting. It starts well, a few pounds are lost, and you eat the foods they sell you, you love the fact you can still drink diet coke and slimming biscuits and cakes, this is the magic pill of weight loss after all! So why do they fail?
